Senior HCA needed for Care Homes - FULL TIME AVAILABILITY ONLY

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Caregivers to join our team and support our clients in care homes throughout Preston and Blackpool areas. As a Senior Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals who require support with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Help with light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and laundry
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or memory loss
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Painchek, Camascope and EMAR
- Previous experience as a Senior Caregiver or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare procedures
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and protocols
- First aid certification is required
- Ability to administer medication accurately and safely
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
