Role Overview:
We’re currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality food. You’ll be preparing and cooking a variety of pub dishes while ensuring high standards of hygiene and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to menu and portion guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
Ensure timely service, especially during busy periods
Assist with stock checks, deliveries, and reducing food waste
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Support daily kitchen operations and help implement specials or menu updates
Requirements:
Some previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
Passion for food and working in a kitchen environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Food hygiene training is an advantage, but not essential (training can be provided)
