About Active Lincolnshire
Active Lincolnshire is a values-driven organisation working with partners and communities so that more people are active, more often. We focus on tackling inequalities in access to sport and physical activity, using insight, collaboration and learning to create lasting change.
About the role
We’re looking for a Development Manager, Boston to coordinate and deliver complex development projects within the Boston place programme. You will work closely with local partners, community assets, parks, open spaces and activity providers to build capacity, respond to community need and create more sustainable opportunities for people to be active.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver the development elements of the Boston programme plan and budget, with a focus on community assets, parks and open spaces.
- Coordinate collaboration between local place partners, strengthening relationships and enabling coordinated approaches to increase physical activity.
- Support community organisations, asset owners and delivery partners to understand need, build capacity and connect to services, funding and expertise.
- Use insight, learning and local intelligence to shape development activity and reduce barriers to participation.
- You'll spend your time meeting people, listening to communities, building trust and helping connect people with opportunities that make a difference.
What we’re looking for
- Experience of managing programmes and budgets, with strong organisation, planning and reporting skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across sectors and with local place partners.
- Knowledge of Boston and commitment to spending in-person time in the place.
- Experience of supporting community organisations to develop, solve problems and thrive.
- A commitment to Active Lincolnshire’s values and to reducing inequalities through practical, evidence-informed delivery.
