M&A Integration Specialist
Location: Wilmslow / Hybrid
Salary: up to £40,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&A Integration Specialist to join a growing wealth management business undergoing continued acquisition and expansion. This role is central to the successful onboarding and integration of newly acquired firms, ensuring operational consistency, high-quality advice delivery, and a smooth transition for advisers and support teams
Working closely with the Integration Manager, you will play a hands-on role in embedding systems, processes, and best practice across multiple acquisitions, supporting firms through periods of change with clarity, structure, and confidence.
Skills & Experience
Essential
" Strong operational background within IFA or wealth management
" In-depth understanding of advice processes, back-office systems, and client service workflows
" Experience training advisers, paraplanners, or administrative teams
" Excellent communication and relationship management skills
" Confident problem-solver with the ability to manage operational and process challenges
" Proven ability to manage multiple onboarding or integration projects simultaneously
Desirable
" Experience using Intelligent Office, Xplan, Adviser Office, or Curo
" Previous exposure to integration, onboarding, or business change roles
" Knowledge of FCA expectations relating to advice processes and operational controls
Key Responsibilities
" Support the Integration Manager in delivering the operational workstream for each acquisition
" Lead newly acquired firms through the adoption of standardised processes, systems, workflows, research standards, and new business practices
" Create clear training materials and deliver structured training sessions to advisers and support staff
" Guide firms through changes to onboarding, reviews, paraplanning, research, and suitability processes
" Act as a key point of contact for operational and system-related queries, resolving issues efficiently and escalating where appropriate
" Gather and assess data from back-office systems, client files, providers, adviser records, and financial data
" Review data quality, identify gaps or anomalies, and produce structured assessment reports
" Clean, standardise, validate, and map incoming data into the central data architecture
" Identify additional training needs and collaborate with the wider integration team to deliver solutions
" Continuously refine and improve integration processes and methodologies
