About the Role
WB Employment are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Recycling Drivers/Loaders to join our client’s busy waste and recycling operation based in Keynsham, Bristol.
This is a hands-on role combining HGV Class 2 driving with physical loading duties. You will work as part of a team collecting household waste and recycling from domestic properties across designated routes.
The role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, so you will need to be comfortable with an active role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and responsibly
- Collect household waste and recycling from domestic properties
- Work as part of a team, assisting loaders with collections when the vehicle is stationary
- Complete routes efficiently and work to scheduled deadlines
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude when representing the company
- Carry out daily vehicle walk-round checks before starting work
- Accurately report any vehicle defects or safety concerns
- Follow all company, site, and third-party health and safety procedures
- Work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Operate in all weather conditions
What We're Looking For
We are looking for reliable and hardworking drivers who are comfortable combining driving duties with physical outdoor work.
You will need to:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) UK Driving Licence
- Hold a valid UK Driver CPC qualification
- Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Be physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual loading duties
- Have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have a professional and positive approach to customers and the public
- Be committed to working safely and following procedures
