Concrete Finishers Required Darlington (DL1)
Edge Contracting are looking for 2 experienced Concrete Finishers to start work on Monday 15th in Darlington (DL1).
Job Details:
- Location: Darlington, DL1
- Start Date: Monday 15th
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Rate: £24 per hour
- Hours 7.30-4 Friday 3pm finish
Requirements:
- CSCS Card (Blue preferred)
- Own PPE and tools
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Concrete Finisher
- Able to work independently
- References covering concrete finishing duties
Duties:
- Preparing areas for concrete pours
- Spreading and levelling freshly poured concrete
- Using screeds to achieve the correct levels and falls
- Compacting concrete using a poker vibrator
- Floating and trowelling concrete to achieve the required finish
- Finishing concrete around troughs, bases, kerbs and other structures
- Checking levels and line using site drawings and instruments
- Applying specified surface finishes
- Cutting expansion and contraction joints where required
- Curing and protecting concrete after finishing
- Working alongside plant operators, groundworkers and other trades during pours
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area
