We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team to cover a period of maternity leave and beyond.
The practice is well established with a small, friendly team with a focus on excellent patient care.
The role will require working 37 hours over 4 days per week (between Monday-Friday, no weekends) 7.45am - 6pm each day.
You must be willing to undertake the National Dental Nurse Diploma training and exam or an Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing to become a fully qualified dental nurse. Training will be provided in house to support you to become qualified.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Process dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and undertake some reception duties
Requirements:
- No previous experience required
- Willing to undertake an apprenticeship or Diploma leading to full qualification
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Desirable
- Previous dental nursing experience
