Rockar Ltd is seeking a dedicated LGV Driver &Vehicle Handover Specialist to join our innovative team. As a Driver & Handover Specialist at Rockar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of vehicles to their new owners. The base for this role will be Market Rasen in Lincolnshire and your day will start from LN8 3RE, therefore the successful candidate does need to live locally in the area. You will quality check vehicles, safely load them into an Iveco and deliver them across England so this role does involve working some long days when delivering further afield. Please note in order to be successful you will require a C1 driving licence, hold a valid Driver CPC Card & a valid Driver Digital Taco Card.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles & transport cars to designated locations.
- Carry out a full vehicle handover to the client at point of delivery, explaining the key specifications of the car and answering any questions they may have.
- Complete online training to learn specification of vehicles with the brand.
- Perform deliveries and pickups in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Handle heavy lifting when required during loading and unloading processes.
- Uphold Rockar's commitment to exceptional customer service in every interaction.
Experience:
- Experience of working within the Motor Industry is essential for this role.
- Previous experience of in a professional driver role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Computer literate.
- Valid C1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Driver CPC Card.
- Driver Digital Tacograph Card.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Your day will start at LN8 3RE therefore the successful candidate does need to live within the local area, ideally within a 30 minute commute of Market Rasen.
