Pay:
Pay Rate: £27,500 to £30,000 DOE
Hours:
8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3:30pm on Friday's.
Purpose of the role:
To own the administration and control of production works orders across all manufacturing sites, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent works order conversions, maintaining system integrity within Bistrack, and providing wider operational teams with reliable information to improve stock accuracy, operational performance, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Timber experience desirable
- Good Excel and reporting skills
- Ability to challenge inaccurate information professionally
- Strong communication across production and office teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Works Order Management (Primary Responsibility - approximately 70%):
- Complete works order conversions for all production sites
- Review completed jobs for accuracy before conversion
- Ensure labour, materials and wastage are correctly converted
- Resolve discrepancies with production supervisors before closing
- Maintain a daily queue of outstanding works orders
- Investigate and correct conversion errors
ERP & Systems Integrity:
- Maintain accurate production records within Epicor Bistrack via ScanTrack
- Support stock accuracy by ensuring transactions are completed correctly
- produce exception reports for overdue or incomplete works orders
- Assist with system improvements and standardisation across sites.
Production Administration:
- Act as the centra point of contact for production administration
- Liaise with Production, Transport, Sales and Stock Control
- Support production scheduling with accurate system information
- Ensure documentation is complete before works orders are closed
- Maintain production filing and audit records
