Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for horticulture and landscaping, with experience in various maintenance techniques. Duties
- Operate a range of power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools for planting, digging, edging, and general garden upkeep.
- Assist with construction activities like installing pathways, retaining walls, or garden features using appropriate equipment.
- Operate machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain health and safety standards across all tasks while working in outdoor environments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture practices.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in gardening and construction activities.
- Strong understanding of garden design principles and plant care routines.
- Ability to undertake construction-related tasks with competence and safety awareness.
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting heavy loads and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
