Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and machinery. The Repair Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Diagnose faults in equipment and machinery using appropriate testing methods.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in repair techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role in a relevant field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A relevant technical qualification or certification is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to repair work is advantageous.
