Job Summary
As Assistant Manager - you lead by example, supporting the General Manager in the management of the accommodation, heading up ‘Team true’ to instil a market leading true life living experience for our guests as we endeavour to become the most loved student accommodation brand. You have a hands-on approach. Day to day you are amongst the action, leading our team to operational excellence. Duties
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
- Ensuring team members training is up to date.
- Assist in managing sales targets, analysing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to maximise revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries professionally and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management through various channels including phone etiquette and written correspondence.
- Provide reception desk support, including front desk and telephone support, assisting with parcel deliveries and day to day queries.
- You will be a key point of contact for our guests - answering questions, dealing with issues or concerns, and responding to complaints. Accommodation show arounds and supporting the sales team.
- Supporting the General Manager to ensure a range of opportunities and events for our guests. Supporting and ensuring delivery of our market leading true-life events program.
- Coordinating guest check in and check out, ensuring processes are in place and working and overseeing termly room inspections.
- Managing contractors and visitors and ensuring procedures are followed.
- Assisting in the day-to-day operations including responding to maintenance requests and the general upkeep of the accommodation.
Skills
- You will have a minimum of 2 years management experience at management/supervisory level.

Pay: £29,000.00 per year
