RVW Pugh Ltd is searching for motivated and flexible mechanics to work at our Churchstoke Depot.
The role will primarily involve the build and PDI of new agricultural machinery and some minor repairs.
We are looking for mechanically minded individuals, with experience in operating, repair and build of various types of machinery that can put their skills to good use on a variety of machines. Training will be available if required.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Utilise hand held tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun
- Performing soldering, which is the process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal (solder) into the joint
- Maintain inventory of product in work stations
- Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

RVW Pugh is an award-winning dealer that wants to reinvest in its resources all the time. We have a fully equipped workshop at our Churchstoke depot. You will receive training from our main manufacturers and also in-house training from our existing knowledgeable team.
