Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (days to be agreed)
Salary: £12.80 per hour (Trainee Dispenser) / £13.47 per hour (qualified Dispenser)

We are looking for someone to join our small dispensing team at Hatherleigh. Whether you're an experienced dispenser with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Dispensing, or you're interested in developing your career as a Trainee Dispenser, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this busy and varied role, you will be involved in;
- Preparing prescriptions authorised by GPs and prescribing clinicians.
- Checking stock as it arrives, in accordance with all protocols and systems, to ensure that we have an accurate record of stock at all times.
- Keeping records and administration systems to make sure that all records are accurate and up to date.

- Experience in a patient/customer facing role, including telephone contact
- Experience working in a team as a team member
- Experience working in a pressurised environment with differing or conflicting priorities
- Experience working in an administrative role that includes computerised records
- Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Email
- Understanding of confidentiality
Desirable (but not essential):
- NVQ2 and/or NVQ3 Dispensing qualification
- Experience working primary care / GP practice
- Experience working in a Dispensary
- Experience working to policies, guidelines and operating procedures
- Experience with stock control, including working with controlled drugs
- Knowledge of drug and drug tariff
