We have a full time position available in our super popular Baa Baa Sheep Shop just off Candlemaker Row in Edinburgh. We are looking for people with previous retail experience with an enthusiastic approach to life. As a sales assistant you will be an integral part of our sales team reporting directly to the Store Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to support sales operations by engaging with customers, assisting with product enquiries and ensuring a fun shopping experience whilst making sure the store is always fully stocked. The company expects you to use your core skills in customer service and product knowledge, whilst also utilising premium skills in communication and relationship building. Achieving sales targets and fostering customer loyalty is our goal. Join us to make a significant impact in our retail environment.
- Work as part of a sales team in managing customer enquiries whilst increasing items per sale.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Restocking and making sure the inventory is always accurate.
- Have fun with the customers to ensure they have a memorable visit.
- Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience of working with an EPOS system.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Experience in sales support or administrative roles.
- Detail-orientated with strong organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of sales processes and techniques.
Pay: £13.45 per hour
