Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 6:00pm

ProFind Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and successful independent estate agency to recruit an experienced Tenancy Manager / Property Manager for their busy Potters Bar office.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing tenancies from the point an offer is agreed through to move-in, while also overseeing the ongoing management of a residential portfolio.
Working closely with landlords, tenants and contractors, you'll ensure properties are managed efficiently, compliance standards are maintained and any issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
This is a varied position requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key ResponsibilitiesTenancy Management
- Managing new tenancies from offer agreed through to move-in.
- Preparing tenancy agreements and all associated documentation.
- Coordinating referencing, Right to Rent checks and tenancy compliance.
- Registering tenancy deposits within the required timescales.
- Arranging move-ins and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Managing tenancy renewals, rent reviews and contract extensions.
- Handling tenancy amendments, notices and end-of-tenancy procedures.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy process.
Property Management
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties.
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs from instruction through to completion.
- Liaising with approved contractors and obtaining quotations.
- Monitoring works to ensure they are completed to a high standard and within agreed budgets.
- Carrying out routine property inspections.
- Following up maintenance, compliance and safety matters.
- Assisting with deposit negotiations and end-of-tenancy matters.
- Maintaining accurate property records and updating CRM systems.
- Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll already have experience within Residential Lettings, Tenancy Management or Property Management and be confident managing a varied workload.
You will have:
- Previous experience within residential lettings, property management or tenancy progression.
- Excellent knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise effectively within a busy environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- A professional, customer-focused and solutions-driven approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and property management software.
ARLA Propertymark qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
