Talking Tides Brew Co. is a vibrant and innovative brewery known predominantly for our craft beers. Our taproom launched on 19th May and we have been blown away by the response both from locals and those visiting from further afield.
Last year we operated with pop up food vendors each weekend and these were all sell out events. Just before Christmas, we launched our very own pizza venture, bringing our food offering in house with our brand new state of the art oven. We’re seeking a passionate Pizza Chef to join our team and oversee our kitchen operations during our weekend opening hours. If you have a love for pizza, a keen eye for presentation and are committed to maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you. Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of delicious pizzas following guidelines
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Create and develop new menu items and specials
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and in accordance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all pizzas are presented beautifully and consistently
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop new pizza recipes and specials
- Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Handle customer enquiries and special requests related to orders
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
Required:
- Passion for pizza and a commitment to delivering high quality products
- Previous experience as a chef is a plus, but not required - we welcome pizza enthusiasts who are eager to learn
- Knowledge of pizza making techniques
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and ability to develop innovative menu items
- Availability to work weekends is essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
