Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Providing a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing treatments.
- Performing specialised services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client looks.
- Offering expert advice on haircare products and upselling suitable items to clients.
- Managing front desk responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining the salon’s organisation.
- Mentoring junior staff and trainees to develop their skills and ensure service standards are met.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon environment.
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalised care.
- Assisting with store management tasks when required, including stock control and product display organisation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Hair Stylist in a busy salon environment.
- Skills in barbering are desirable but not essential.
- Experience with eyelash extensions and makeup application is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in store management or retail sales within a salon setting is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is preferred.
- A recognised qualification in hairdressing or barbering from an accredited institution is required.
