We are seeking an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children’s residential home. This is a unique opportunity to establish and shape a nurturing environment that supports young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) to thrive, heal, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the home through the Ofsted registration process and establish operational frameworks.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a care team including Deputy Manager, Team Leaders, and support staff.
- Create and maintain a safe, warm, and nurturing residential environment.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans for each young person.
- Promote and embed a strong safeguarding culture across the home.
- Build and maintain relationships with families, social workers, and external professionals.
- Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015).
- Support young people to develop independence, confidence, and life skills.
- Monitor service quality, staff performance, and care outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care delivery.

Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager in children’s residential care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015).
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-quality residential care.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Right to work in the UK.
