Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and engaging bar/ waiting and barista staff to join our team at a new bar and cafe, in the grounds of Leadenham Polo Club. The bar is open to all, offering breakfast; a selection of cake; lunches and evening meals, in addition to soft and alcoholic drinks and excellent coffee. This role will include weekends and some evenings. Salary will be based on hours worked and experience. Flexible hours available.
Responsibilities
- Serving alcoholic, non-alcohol drinks and coffee to customers
- Help in the preparation and production of food in accordance with food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
- Help monitor inventory levels of drink supplies
- Develop strong relationships with customers, building rapport and always offering a friendly welcome
Skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with customers, the wider team, and suppliers.
- Experience in a kitchen, on a bar and as a barista is an advantage but not essential.
