PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: up to £51,867 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As part of the BBC's new Creative Diversity model, a network of Business Advisors will deliver inclusion priorities across commissioning and production. You'll provide on-the-ground project coordination and project management expertise, working closely with the Creative Diversity Leads and a team of business advisors to coordinate multiple concurrent projects across a range of workstreams.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you'll work across multiple teams and departments to coordinate complex projects that contribute to the BBC's Creative Diversity priorities. The role offers the opportunity to work with stakeholders across commissioning, production and business support functions, ensuring projects are effectively planned, managed and delivered to achieve meaningful impact.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Creative Diversity projects and initiatives that advance the BBC's inclusion and representation objectives both on and off screen.
Support the delivery of projects ranging from short-term initiatives to longer-term strategic priorities, working across commissioning, production, talent, training, partnerships and audience-focused initiatives.
Coordinating stakeholders across BBC divisions and external organisations.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, contributing to business planning, budget monitoring and forecasting activities where required.
Managing multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, identifying and escalating risks and creating performance updates, reporting to stakeholders as required.
Support the evaluation of Creative Diversity initiatives, ensuring outcomes, insights and recommendations are documented and shared.
Contribute to measuring the impact of projects and identifying opportunities for future improvement.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Proven experience coordinating or managing projects or productions to successful outcomes.
Working knowledge of the project lifecycle including a selection of appropriate methodologies and techniques for delivery.
Understanding of the drivers of success and sources of risk for the project.
Microsoft Office software skills and experience using data to make it meaningful for different audiences.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Asana or similar platforms.
DESIRABLE
Experience supporting inclusion, diversity or audience-focused initiatives.
Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, APM, MSP or equivalent).
Demonstrable professional development with a recognised project management qualification or equal experience (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP, Agile certification).
