We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable PART TIME Warehouse Driver(Self Employed) to join our Operations team.
This role will be located at our warehouse facility in Leyton Industrial Avenue, London.
Part time Driver will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution activities. This role involves managing inventory, preparing and delivering goods, and ensuring the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent organisational skills, and have a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Assist day-to-day operational issues with Ops. Managers.
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver goods between warehouses and other locations.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Organising and labelling items.
- Manage with loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles. Use appropriate equipment and techniques to handle heavy items.
- Delivering items to the correct address.
- Packing and stocking products in a warehouse.
- Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Handling necessary tools and accessories.
- Ensure vehicles fully charged – H&S procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and pack orders for delivery to various student accommodation sites. Ensure all items are correctly labelled and packed.
- Assist in the build and assembly of products as needed.
- Adhere to all the guidelines detailed in the driver`s handbook with particular attention to the fines and health and safety.
- Interact courteously with students and staff, addressing any concerns or requests in a professional manner.
Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleague and contribution to a positive working environment.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred. Experience in driving delivery vehicles is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Forklift certification is an advantage.
