1:1 SPECIALIST SUPPORT – KIDS HOLIDAY CAMP (SEASONAL)

Multiple positions available, including seasonal and flexible bank staff opportunities across our holiday programmes in Carshalton.
AMBIT Youngerz is seeking compassionate, patient and dedicated 1:1 Specialist Support Workers to support children with additional needs during our holiday programmes.
You will work closely with an individual child to help them participate fully in activities, develop confidence and enjoy a positive holiday experience in a safe and supportive environment. Based on the role requirements, support may include adapting activities, implementing behaviour support strategies and providing personal care where required.
WORK HOURS (MONDAY-THURSDAY):
Carshalton: 10:15am-2:45pm
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing one-to-one support for a child with additional needs
- Adapting activities to support inclusion and engagement
- Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
- Implementing positive behaviour support strategies
- Working closely with Activity Leaders and parents/carers
- Maintaining accurate records and observations
- Supporting personal care where required
- Helping children build confidence, independence and friendships
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs for a minimum of 2 years (Essential)
- Calm, patient and nurturing approach (Essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills (Essential)
- DBS on the Update Service (Essential)
- Safeguarding qualification (Essential)
- Experience with personal care is desirable
Bank Staff Opportunities Available:
We are also recruiting Bank 1:1 Specialist Support Workers who can work on a flexible, rotational basis during holiday programmes.
