Bar Assistant
Aston Hall Hotel is a well established 50 bedroom hotel in Sheffield, renowned for its hospitality, events, and high quality dining experiences. Following the successful refurbishment and relaunch of Byron’s Lounge Bar, we are proud to announce the opening of our brand new Darcy’s Restaurant, a contemporary dining concept focused on quality, seasonal ingredients and modern cuisine.
With Darcy’s now open and already building momentum, this is an exciting opportunity to join our front of house team at a pivotal stage of growth and play a key role in delivering exceptional service across our restaurant, lounge bar and busy banqueting operation.
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bar Assistants to join our team on a casual basis, with experience in a fast paced hospitality environment and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high quality bar service across Byron’s Lounge Bar, Darcy’s Restaurant and hotel events
- Prepare and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining excellent presentation standards
- Support service during weddings, functions and high volume events
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar areas
- Work closely with the wider front of house team to ensure smooth service
About You
- Previous experience working in a busy bar or hospitality environment preferred
- A positive, team focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Passionate about delivering excellent service and guest experience
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and key event dates
- Must be aged 18+

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
