06:00-14:00 - Monday - Friday
14:00-22:00 - Monday - Friday
21:30-06:30 - Monday - Thursday
Pay Rate:
£14.62 per hour plus monthly bonus

The Role:
To oversee the operation of Polyamide production to meet all production related targets and other tasks delegated by the Supervisor by maximising production whilst maintaining a safe, efficient and constructive workplace. Assisting the supervisor in data collection and presentation as required. Developing and undertaking training to optimise this new departments structure, performance and capability. It will be essential that you obtain a firm working knowledge of all activities and processes within the department, and assist the Supervisor in improvement suggestions, plans and developments.
Main Duties: Production
· Work is carried out in line with the processes of the department and management
· Ensuring that all efforts are being made to achieve all production output targets in line with schedules and coordinate with other departments as necessary
· Ensuring that quality standards are achieved and update and maintain machine setting cards
· As the department grows, support the Supervisor in running daily departmental meetings , presenting targets, toolbox talks and quality/production/H&S metrics
· Highlighting issues to support functions and associated departments
· Recommending and assisting in the introduction of improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in line with the aspirations of the company
· Ensuring machinery is maintained and serviced accordingly
· Maintaining adequate stock levels
· Understanding all processes within the department and reducing wastage and minimise loss

- Previous production experience is an advantage but not essential
