Location: Hedge End
Salary: £25,000–£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent – 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins on a rota basis

Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have a minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Children's Support Worker or supporting children and young people in a similar setting.
We are looking for experienced Children's Support Workers to join a residential home in Hedge End, supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and autism.
This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Southampton, Eastleigh, Fareham, Portsmouth, Winchester, Romsey, Totton, Bishops Waltham and surrounding areas.
As an experienced Children's Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children and young people can thrive. You will support their emotional, social and educational development while encouraging independence and positive outcomes.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance while working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to deliver person-centred support in line with Ofsted standards and the organisation's values.

A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work.
GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Minimum of 6 months' experience supporting children and young people.
Good IT skills.
Willingness to complete the Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare within two years of employment (if not already achieved).
Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
