Located in the picturesque village of Hurley near Henley-on-Thames, Marlow and Maidenhead, we offer luxurious accommodations and outstanding event spaces, making us a prime destination for weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Events Co-ordinator to take charge of all events at Hurley House Hotel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong operational skills, and have a proven track record in executing high-end events. We are offering £35,000 per annum for 48 hours/5 days a week which may include, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responding to telephone and/or email events enquiries, and following-up in a timely manner
- Performing show-arounds to sell our venue to potential clients for all events including weddings
- Organising and managing all events and supporting clients with catering, theming, entertainment, and events logistics
- Producing quotations and invoices for each event, and ensuring that payments are received in a timely manner and according to Company procedures
- Supporting and coordinating external suppliers and contractors
- Assist in selling weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, meetings, and special occasions.
- Maintain accurate records using our CRM and booking systems.
- Build strong relationships with clients from initial enquiry through to event delivery.
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns aimed at increasing event bookings.
- Ensure seamless event execution.
- Attend networking events and represent Hurley House Hotel within the local business community when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Positive personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Passionate about events, people, and providing outstanding customer service. You will have at least 3 years of relevant experience gained in a similar role within high-end venues.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to details are key aspects of this role
- Time management and organisation skills
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- You will be extremely accurate and methodical
- Experience in Tevalis/RezDiary booking system will be an advantage.
Please be aware that the hotel is located in a rural location; having your own transportation arrangement is essential.
