We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assitant Branch Manager to join our thriving team at Connect Plumbing & Heating Supplies. This key position involves supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service within our busy branch.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Assist in leading and motivating a team of sales and warehouse staff to achieve branch targets and deliver excellent customer service
- Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
2. Customer Service:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a customer-centric focus.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth and customer satisfaction.
3. Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing stock levels, overseeing replenishment, and optimizing company stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure adequate stock levels.
4. Sales Performance:
- Support the Branch Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales & profit targets.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
5. Operational Efficiency:
- Work closely with the Branch manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, compliance with company policies, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the implementation of the operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the Plumbing & Heating industry is essential,
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
