In this role, you’ll lead and empower teams delivering Extra Care and Housing Support Grant (HSG) Floating Support services, driving excellence in housing management, contributing to key objectives, managing crises, and shaping policies and procedures to continuously improve service delivery.

About the role
As an Operational Manager of Extra Care & Floating Support, you will provide senior operational leadership across services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support delivery. You will lead and inspire teams, manage performance, and oversee compliance, quality assurance and service development.
The Operational Manager of Extra Care & Floating Support will work closely with internal departments and external partners, including local authorities and commissioners, to strengthen partnerships and drive innovation. You’ll also contribute to budgets, policies and continuous improvement, ensuring services meet contractual and organisational objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operational Manager of Extra Care & Floating Support to make a real impact across multiple communities.
About you
We’re looking for a proactive and compassionate leader with experience in housing, Extra Care, Floating Support, or related sectors such as mental health or social care.
As an Operational Manager of Extra Care & Floating Support, you will demonstrate strong leadership, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve and manage change effectively. A commitment to values including kindness, trust, accountability and innovation is essential.
We welcome previous experience working as:
Housing Manager, Service Manager, Support Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, Community Manager or similar roles with transferable skills relevant to an Operational Manager of Extra Care & Floating Support.
