Food & Beverage
We offer a range of seasonal, customer focused food and beverage across breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and Sunday roasts. We offer private dining in elegant spaces such as our Montefiore Suite or Boardroom, and have 6 outdoor garden pods for intimate dining. We have a 65+ cover restaurant, over 100 outdoor dining covers, served by an outdoor cabin bar, alongside a comfortable guest lounge and a premium cocktail bar in the main building.
Events
We are actively growing this sector of the business and are able to provide exceptional surroundings and service for weddings, celebrations of life, bridal & baby showers, private parties, corporate events and more. Our Victorian Orangery has its own dedicated bar and hosts some exceptional events across all seasons. The venue catering is serviced by 2 professional kitchens.
The role includes producing fresh, quality food and supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and ensuring cleanliness is kept to the highest of standards.
Role:
· You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of food to high standards, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times.
· Should be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative.
· A passion for food is a must and you should be able to inspire others with your flair and individuality.
· As you will be expected to help the other chefs prepare and cook as well as mimic the proper presentation of the food and advise others how to do so.
· You must follow and enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen
· Carry out relevant paperwork where required.
· Always ensure you keep to food hygiene regulations, ensure all food is labelled and in date, temperature readings are recorded and food is handled, cooked and stored in the safest possible manner.
· Ensure all fridges and freezer are clean and tidy at end of shift.
· Make sure that each customer is served high-quality food in a timely manner.
· Contribute to the production of the highest possible food quality in the delegated section at all times.
· Ensure all issues are reported to senior chef and if in doubt just ask. Ensure proper food portion control, stick to the company vision, and stick to menu specifications.
