About the Role

We’re now looking for a Sector Specialist Tutor to deliver Level 2–5 Health & Social Care qualifications. This is a flexible, home-based role with the opportunity to truly shape lives while enjoying autonomy in your working week.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, supportive training that inspires learners to succeed
- Carry out in-person observations to capture real, high-quality workplace evidence
- Blend digital learning tools, virtual sessions, and workplace visits to enhance progress
- Hold regular progress reviews with learners and employers to keep development on track
- Build trusted relationships with learners and care organisations
- Manage your own caseload and support learners through to successful completion
- Maintain accurate e-portfolio records in line with quality standards
- Promote safeguarding and create a safe, positive learning experience
- Identify opportunities to support learner progression and business growth
- Continue developing your own skills and contributing to continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Teaching qualification (AET, CET, Cert Ed, PGCE)
- Assessing qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/D33)
- Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or above)
- Industry experience in the care settings, with direct hands-on experience,
- CSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and ICT
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and able to inspire learners.
- Committed to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Other Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
