Overview
We are looking for tech operators for ad-hoc live comedy shows in villages around High Wycombe currently taking place monthly but building to more regular shows.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate lighting, sound, projection, and multimedia equipment for performances
- Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment
- Collaborate with performers to execute technical cues accurately and efficiently
- Assist with stage setup, including rigging and equipment placement
- Conduct routine safety inspections of all technical gear and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Recording clips for social media
Qualifications and must haves
- Proven experience in theatre production, audiovisual technology, or related fields
- Proficiency in Q-Lab
- Knowledge of lighting and sound systems used in live performance settings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and artists
- A car and drivers license
Desirable
- Experience in live comedy
- A passion for comedy and knowledge of up and coming acts
- A quality camera and/or recent smartphone
