We are looking for a reliable and efficient Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of medications and pharmaceutical supplies to long-term care homes and individual patients. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service while adhering to strict safety and confidentiality protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Deliveries: Safely transport medications and supplies to designated locations, ensuring all deliveries are completed on schedule.
- Accuracy and Compliance: Verify delivery orders to ensure the correct items are delivered to the correct recipient, maintaining strict compliance with pharmaceutical handling regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, and report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to long-term care homes and patients, addressing any delivery-related queries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
- Confidentiality: Handle all patient information and medication details with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Problem Solving: Manage and adapt to unexpected delays or changes in delivery schedules to minimise disruptions.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a delivery driver role, ideally in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to meet tight schedules.
- Ability to follow procedures and regulations, including those related to handling sensitive items.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the local area and efficient route planning.
- Knowledge of basic pharmaceutical handling and transportation regulations.

Pay: £31,200.00-£41,500.00 per year
