RSM Drain Solutions, part of the growing RSM Group, provides specialist drainage and environmental services across the UK.
We're looking for a reliable HGV Drainage Operative to join our team following the investment in a brand-new Bucher Municipal FlexLine CM120 combination jetting and vacuum tanker.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll operate our specialist jetting and vacuum tanker, carrying out planned drainage maintenance, blockage clearance, emergency response work and specialist cleaning services for a wide range of customers across the UK.

What you'll be doing
- Operating a specialist jetting and vacuum tanker.
- Carrying out planned drainage maintenance and blockage clearance.
- Responding to emergency drainage callouts when required.
- Cleaning gullies, catchpits, interceptors, pumping stations and drainage systems.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping equipment in good working order.
- Completing simple job reports using our electronic system.
- Working safely and representing RSM professionally on customer sites.
The role involves travelling across the UK, with occasional nights away and participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Category C (Class 2) HGV Licence.
- Minimum two years' HGV driving experience (required to meet our vehicle insurance criteria).
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- A safety-conscious approach and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Happy to work nationwide and stay away when required.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Drainage or utilities experience.
- High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) qualification.
- Experience operating a jetting or vacuum tanker.
- Confined Space, CSCS or First Aid qualifications.
