Flooring Sales Advisor & Site Surveyor
Salary + Commission
We are looking for an experienced Flooring Sales Advisor & Site Surveyor to join our family-run carpet and flooring showroom in Surbiton.
Previous carpet and flooring industry experience is a must.
This is a varied role combining showroom sales, customer service, quoting, ordering and site measuring. When not attending site visits, you will be based in the showroom serving customers and helping with the day-to-day running of the business.
Responsibilities
- Serve and advise customers in the showroom.
- Advise on carpets, wood flooring, LVT, vinyl and stair runners.
- Prepare quotations and follow up enquiries.
- Visit customer properties to measure and assess flooring requirements.
- Process orders and liaise with suppliers and installers.
- Look after customers from initial enquiry through to installation.
About You
- Previous carpet and flooring industry experience is a must.
- Good flooring product knowledge.
- Confident in sales and dealing with customers.
- Experience measuring and carrying out site surveys.
- Well organised with good computer skills.
- Full UK driving licence required.
