Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, ice lattes , matchas and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide excellent service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Handle cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and give correct change using basic math skills
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or snacks to complement beverages
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and reduce wait times
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff
Requirements
- Previous barista experience necessary, can also make matcha
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to uphold hygiene regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory checks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members positively
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks involved in food preparation and service
- A proactive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
