Hardwick Hall Hotel are recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to come and join our team.
Set in 120 acres of parkland, Hardwick Hall Hotel lies in the heart of the beautiful County Durham countryside. Surrounded by the stunning Hardwick Country Park, our hotel is steeped in charm and character providing the perfect setting for a luxurious break.
Food plays a significant part at Hardwick Hall, from an exclusive dining experience in our rib room steakhouse and grill to afternoon teas served in our stunning lounge, our aim is to ensure that we delight every guest, every single time.
As the successful Chef de Partie you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting dishes, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen to our exceptionally high standards, mentoring and supporting the junior members of the team, along with assisting the Head Chef with creating new memorable dishes and menus, so that we delight every guest, every single time, so they come back time and time again.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with at least 1 years’ experience of working as a Chef de Partie, ideally within a luxury hotel or fine dining/bistro restaurant.
You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, have impeccable standards of cleanliness and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
But most importantly, you will have a passion for food and enjoy creating a memorable experience for our guests.
The role offers up to 48 hours per week and will include evening and weekend working.
