We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers, maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanour
- Take orders and handle cash or card transactions with precision using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure all beverages are prepared in accordance with health and safety standards, including food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies as needed
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and address any issues promptly
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of each shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, ideally within a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Previous restaurant experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
