Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Treatment Coordinator/Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and organised coordinator that ensures our patients receive exceptional care from the moment they walk through the door. Your energetic approach will help guide patients through treatment plans, answer their questions, and coordinate appointments seamlessly. You will also manage front desk operations, handle administrative tasks with precision, and create a welcoming environment that fosters trust and comfort. Monday - Friday
Minimum 4 days - between the hours of 8:15am - 6:15pm
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a positive first impression
- Coordinate treatment plans by explaining procedures, costs, and financing options clearly and confidently
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maximise office flow and patient convenience
- Manage patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Handle all front desk duties including answering phones, checking in/out patients, and managing correspondence
- Assist with insurance verifications, claims processing, and payment collections to streamline financial interactions
- Maintain a clean, organised reception area that reflects our commitment to professionalism and patient comfort
Experience
- Prior office experience or administrative experience in a healthcare or dental setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex treatment options clearly
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for managing schedules and records
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism
- Comfort with dental terminology and procedures is a plus but not required; training will be provided
