Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Take orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to alcohol licensing laws
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial
- Ability to serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during shifts
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
