Behind Socials is a social media and content creation agency working with fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. We’re growing, and we’re looking for someone to grow with us.
The role
This is a junior role, perfect for a student or someone early in their career who wants agency experience and a portfolio that speaks for itself. You’ll be the face and hands behind Behind Socials’ own Instagram and TikTok, creating content that attracts new clients to the agency.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Only the full shooting, editing and posting for our own pages (our page only, not client accounts)
- 2-3 posts a week across our channels, varying between reels, carousels and static posts
- Researching trends and bringing fresh content ideas to the table
- Appearing on camera in our content
- Collaborating with the founder on content direction
Once a month or so, we’ll book a studio and shoot content together. As your skills develop, you may take the lead on shoots yourself. And as the agency grows, so will the role and pay, with the opportunity to move into client content, client accounts and more responsibility across the business.
Who we’re looking for
- London based
- Confident on camera and a strong communicator
- Proactive. You spot opportunities and bring ideas without waiting to be asked
- Flexible and collaborative
- Able to shoot, edit and post independently to a high standard
- Genuinely passionate about social media marketing and content creation. Experience is a bonus, but if you have real passion and can show us what you can create, we welcome that too
- Looking for a long term position and excited to grow with a young agency
Nice to have
- Your own content creation equipment, such as a recent iPhone (17 Pro Max ideal), tripod, lighting or mics
- An interest in fashion, beauty or lifestyle content
Pay
- £300 fixed monthly retainer on a freelance basis, covering 2-3 posts a week on our social media pages
- £20 an hour for in person studio shoot days, with travel compensated
- Pay reviewed as the role and agency grow
