The Opportunity
We are seeking professional Event Response Security operatives who champion our values to join our dedicated, elite team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-profile, fast-paced environment at some of London’s most prestigious sporting and music venues, where keeping people safe and executing rapid incident response is our top priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Crowd & Pitch Management: Monitor crowd behaviour, manage egress control, and provide a rapid, professional response to any incidents on or near the pitch to prevent pitch invasions or unauthorised access.
- Safety & Vigilance: Ensure the safety of players, officials, and spectators at all times by remaining highly visible and alert to potential security risks.
- Conflict De-escalation: Confidently handle high-pressure conflict management situations, reporting anti-social or suspicious behaviour effectively.
- Customer Excellence: Deliver approachable customer service, direct guests around the site, and act as a professional ambassador for Lawmens Security.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- SIA Licence: Must hold a valid, current SIA Door Supervision Licence.
- Right to Work: Must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Spectator Safety: Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification or be willing to enrol in the qualification through Lawmens Security.
- Language: Fluent verbal and written English is required.
About You
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced ability to confidently de-escalate and resolve difficult or volatile conflict situations.
- A keen eye for detail, tactical awareness, and constant vigilance.
- Smart, sharp appearance with impeccable personal presentation.
- 2 years of experience in response security roles is preferred, but highly skilled candidates with a strong operational background will be considered.
- Able to travel to the Wimbledon area for work (work at other London venues will also be available)
Pay: £16.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wimbledon, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
