Join the best team in the business!
Are you an experienced water hygiene professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Do you have the skills and ambition to help build a team from the ground up?
Titan Water are currently recruiting for a Water Hygiene Supervisor to join our growing operations team, based in our head office near Ormskirk.
Why Should You Join Titan?
· Professional Development – We invest in our people through training, support, and real progression opportunities. For the right candidate, this role has a clear pathway into operational management as the business grows.
· A Business That’s Going Places – We’re an expanding water hygiene and Legionella control company with a strong foothold in the FM sector. You’ll be joining at exactly the right time to shape what we become.
· Technical Excellence – Our reputation in the industry is built on the quality and depth of our expertise. You’ll be working alongside people who genuinely know their trade and take pride in getting it right.
About The Role
Titan Water specialises in water hygiene and Legionella control services, delivering a comprehensive compliance offering to clients across the Facilities Management sector. We’ve built our reputation on technical excellence and a depth of engineering expertise that sets us apart, and we’re now expanding our water hygiene division to meet growing demand.
This is not a role for someone looking to stand still. We want a technically capable Water Hygiene Supervisor who can take ownership of field operations, deliver work to a consistently high standard, and grow with the business as we scale. In time, the successful candidate will move into an operational management position and play a central role in building the team around them.
The role is based at our head office near Ormskirk and will primarily service sites across the North West, with some national travel required.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Delivering water hygiene services across a range of commercial and public sector sites, including temperature monitoring, water sampling, tank cleaning and disinfection, shower head cleaning, and TMV servicing.
· Maintaining accurate and compliant records in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, and relevant HTM guidance.
· Liaising with our head office team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, reported correctly, and invoiced promptly.
· Supporting the development of RAMS and operational procedures as the business grows.
· Playing an active role in the growth of the water hygiene division, including contributing to quality, compliance, and training as the team expands.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with solid hands-on water hygiene experience who takes real pride in the quality of their work. You’ll need to be self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team.
Essential:
· Demonstrable experience working in the water hygiene sector, with practical knowledge across a broad range of services.
· Strong working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and associated legislation.
· City & Guilds Water Hygiene qualification or equivalent industry-recognised certification.
· Ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliant site reports.
· A full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
· Experience conducting Legionella risk assessments, ideally with a formal qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 6017 or equivalent).
· TMV servicing experience and/or a recognised TMV qualification.
· Experience working with closed systems, including chemical dosing and water treatment.
· Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
About You
· Ambitious and driven – you’re not looking for a job, you’re looking for a career with real progression.
· Someone who takes ownership – you hold yourself to a high standard without being told to.
· A confident communicator – you can represent Titan professionally with clients on site.
