Job Overview
We are an Electrical Contractors with 25 veichles and fast growing, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet and equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections & sevicing of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues through visual assessment and the use of diagnostic tools
- Repair and replace faulty components.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and other specialised machinery to complete repairs
- Assemble or disassemble parts as required for repair or replacement purposes
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle or piece of equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Experience
- Experience as a Auto Mechanic or similar role within an automotive repair environment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical principles
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic instruments
- Experience with assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and equipment repair tasks
- Prior experience working with various types of vehicles is advantageous
