Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a pristine, welcoming environment. The role is for for either 6pm-7:30pm Monday to Friday or 6:30am-8:00am.
Fridays is pack away day so we also need an additional deep clean from 6pm-8pm. 12 hours a week in total.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning tasks across various commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are hygienic, organized, and presentable. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall safety and comfort of our facilities. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in their work.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure effective sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in designated areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and prioritize high-traffic areas for optimal hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
