Due to continue grow, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Self Employed Domestic Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services to private households. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to work independently, delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly approach to client interactions. Own vehicle and driving licence is essential as we operate up to 30min from Chipping sodbury BS37 (no public service users due to locations). Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning, as well as commercial cleaning, is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of domestic properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within each property
- Manage your own schedule to accommodate client appointments efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding their specific cleaning requirements
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Occasionally assist with light household tasks such as laundry or organising spaces (if requested)
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and to client satisfaction
Experience
- Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and use of various cleaning tools and products
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients
- Organised with the ability to manage your own workload independently
- Previous experience working as a self-employed cleaner or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates
