Sous Chef – Lebnani, Reigate
Work Alongside Jad Youssef at One of Surrey's Most Established Independent Restaurants
Lebnani is looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Reigate. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Jad Youssef, our founder, helping to lead the kitchen and deliver the authentic Lebanese food that has made Lebnani one of Surrey's most established independent restaurants.
As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting service, maintaining exceptional food quality, mentoring the team, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation. You'll work closely with Jad delivering an outstanding dining experience.
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday, offering all-day dining across lunch and dinner.

The Role
As Sous Chef, you will take be responsible for:
- Maintaining consistency, quality, and pace across service
- Managing food cost, labour, ordering, stock, and waste
- Training and developing the kitchen team
- Working closely with Jad and GM
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and compliance
- Supporting menu development and seasonal specials
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Sous Chef, or strong Junior Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good commercial understanding of GP, labour, stock, and waste control
- Calm, hands-on approach under pressure
- Strong focus on consistency and standards
