Kumo is coming soon, and we’re looking for a talented Soufflé Chef to join us from day one.
We’re a new Japanese-inspired café bringing something fresh, exciting and delicious to the scene, and our soufflés are going to be at the heart of what we do.
We’re looking for an experienced Soufflé Chef who is passionate about creating beautiful, light and perfectly crafted soufflés. Someone who understands the importance of technique, consistency and presentation, and who wants the opportunity to make their mark on a brand-new café.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience making soufflés, ideally Japanese-style soufflé pancakes.
- Strong understanding of preparation, technique and consistency.
- A passion for creating exceptional food from fresh ingredients.
- Excellent attention to detail - from the first whisk to the final presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy café environment.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new flavours and ideas.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of building something special.
Your role
As our Soufflé Chef, you'll be responsible for creating the signature soufflés that will help define Kumo.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Prepare fresh soufflés to order, maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
- Help develop and refine our soufflé menu.
- Experiment with seasonal flavours and new creations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, preparation and food presentation.
- Work closely with the wider team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Help establish the standards and reputation of Kumo from the very beginning.
