We are looking for Residential Children's Home Manager to join our specialist team who would love to support our children (up to the age of 17 years old).
Lead the day-to-day management and operation of a residential children's home
Ensure full compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and all seven Quality Standards
Hold Ofsted registration as Registered Manager and maintain the home's Statement of Purpose
Lead, supervise, and develop a dedicated staff team including senior support workers and a deputy manager
Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the home
Oversee care planning for all children, ensuring plans are person-centred, up to date, and regularly reviewed
Build and maintain strong relationships with placing authorities, social workers, IROs, CAMHS, and education providers
Drive continuous improvement through robust quality assurance, auditing, and reflective practice
Manage statutory notifications to Ofsted and lead the home through inspections with confidence
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
Sound knowledge of the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the wider looked-after children framework
Proven experience working with children with complex needs, trauma, and emotional and behavioural difficulties
Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience managing allegations and child protection concerns
Excellent communication, record keeping, and organisational skills
Enhanced DBS check required

Salary: £45000 p.a - £55000 p.a. depending on experience
