Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Larchfield House in Maindenhead. This role is vital in maintaining the safety and functionality of our facilities, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct inspections using schematics and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with staff to address facility-related concerns promptly.
- Support the safety and well-being of residents by ensuring a safe environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably within healthcare or elderly care settings.
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills, including familiarity with schematics and programmable logic controllers.
- Ability to weld and perform general repairs.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on resident safety and comfort.
